Single Moms Ministry:

Our vision for single moms doesn’t differ much from that of our vision for everyone at Calvary Fellowship.  We are all complete in Christ, so we view single moms and their children as families who are complete in Christ. Our vision is to help single-mom families, just like anyone else, find their identities in Christ and be dependent on Him for all their needs: practical, spiritual, and emotional.

To that end, we encourage single moms to get involved in any of the Bible studies, home groups, and other ministries, but also offer the following specifically for single-mom families:

Tabitha:

Inspired by the disciple in Acts who was, “…always doing good and helping the poor” (Acts 9:36), this ministry offers practical help, such as home-cooked meals, for those who are in the midst of great difficulty, whether it be the loss of a loved one, a chronic/terminal illness, or other such period of difficulty.  For more information, or to volunteer for this ministry, contact Sarah Matuszewski at sarahm@calvaryfellowship.org.

Food Bank:

Open Sundays from 12:30 PM in the upper campus church library (just northwest of the main building). Not open on the fifth Sunday of each month, or following major holidays. For more information, or to donate food, contact Amber Callahan at 206-226-0504.
