Our prayer is for servants who have a huge and amazing heart for children to step forward and show an act of love and worship towards Jesus and others.
Here are some areas where you can use your gifts and talents in making an impact on a child’s life for Jesus! Contact the Children’s Ministry office for an application at 425-775-3422, ext 115 or 116.
Little Blessings volunteers are needed to serve one to two times a month during Wednesday evening and all three Sunday services. We are praying for the Lord to provide an abundantly large group of volunteers.
Substitute Teachers and Helpers are needed on call for all ages and all programs. We need volunteer that are flexible and have willing hearts to step in to the classrooms on short notice. We do work with your availability and service time preference.
Bible Teachers to teach God’s Word. We ask that they are open to God’s leading and inspiration in order to present an age-appropriate prepared lesson within a designated time frame. Scheduled curriculum is provided.
Bible Memory Verse Game Leaders have the privilege to lay a strong foundation of verse memorization that is a rich spiritual resource a child can draw on throughout their lifetime. The leader will use various group games that make verse memorization fun and enjoyable.
Big Buddies is a way of including children with special needs in the life of our church. The children are paired up with a buddy who assists them during their class time. Our desire is for the Lord to call into this ministry volunteers to serve one-on-one with the children and a coordinator who would work with the families and the volunteer buddies.
Summer Teaching Teams do just that, step in and minister to the Kingdom Kids and Kids Club children during the summer months and give the school year teaching teams a break. We are flexible with your schedule and will staff you in the classrooms based upon your summer availability.
Prayer Ministry is always in need of people who have a heart to pray. A prayer letter with specific praises and needs are emailed each week. If interested in participating in the prayer ministry, email Allison and let her know.
Behind the Scenes Ministry is for a person who has a heart to minister in practical ways. Commitment: weekly, once-a-month or substitute.
The biggest need is in the Classroom Cleaning Ministry. In this area, we need a team of people to be self-directed to tidy, clean, vacuum and repair classrooms. The Bucket Brigade volunteers serve in the area of preparing crafts and activities. You may spend time copying, cutting and organizing classroom projects. Hospitality volunteers are needed to prepare food and bake for volunteer lunches, outreaches and events.
Vacation Bible School is a summer outreach during the last week in July. We start planning and preparing in January. There are many ways to get involved. For details and information, please contact the Children’s Ministry office.
